Our thoughts: 

Appearance and Nose - Deep purple with an intense and fabulous scented nose of sweet summer fruit,  vanilla, spice and oak. 

Palate - Velvety smooth and complex combination of sweet red and dark fruits and luscious rich raisin and black cherries with layered notes of sweet spice, liquorice, toast and vanilla.  Good length with slight nutty finish.  Oak will integrate even further if kept for another year or so.

Awarded 2009 IWSC and Decanter Silver medal.
